Dr. Llewellyn Basilio Canio, MD
Dr. Llewellyn Basilio Canio, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician with a strong focus on geriatric and senior care, serving the Houston area of Texas.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Canio specializes in comprehensive primary care tailored to older adults, addressing age-related conditions such as diabetes in older adults (including maturity-onset and type 2 diabetes management), hypertension, chronic diseases common in seniors, and overall wellness for aging patients.

He is particularly dedicated to the unique healthcare needs of the elderly, including preventive care, chronic condition management, and promoting healthy aging. As Medical Director at Compassionate Visiting Providers (a network providing accessible community-based care in Houston and surrounding areas), he oversees services that support seniors and families in need of affordable, compassionate primary care.
